The possibility of using medical care in the Seychelles is very limited, especially on further located islands. On Mahé there are two hospitals and several private clinics. On Mahé, Praslin and La Digue there are medical ambulances for emergencies. The cost of a medical visit is about 30-50 USD, the day of hospital stay is 100-200 USD (without treatments). A dentist visit costs approx. 15 USD. It is recommended to purchase international health insurance before arrival.
